Which document do I need to read?
Depending on what you want to know, the correct document is one of these six:
- Terms and Conditions — what Gestoría Online Gala is as a service, how the contractual relationship works (mandate/management engagement), pricing, payment method, timeframes, responsibilities and what happens if something doesn't work.
- Privacy and Data Protection — what personal data we process, for what purpose, for how long, with whom we share it, and how to exercise your rights (access, rectification, erasure, etc.).
- Use of Artificial Intelligence — where and how we use AI tools in our internal processes, and where we do NOT use it (no decision about your case file is ever made automatically without human supervision).
- Commercial Communications and Advertising Use of Your Data — what they are, how you give your consent (always optional and separate from the rest), the guarantee that your data is only used for our own advertising (never transferred to third parties for that purpose), and how to unsubscribe with one click.
- Legal Notice — identification of the company, contact details, professional registration and general terms of use of the website.
- Cookie Policy — which cookies this website uses and how to configure or reject them.
Spanish and European Union regulations we apply
These documents rely, among others, on the following regulations. This is not an exhaustive list of all the law applicable to the activity of an administrative agency (gestoría administrativa), which also includes the sector-specific rules for each procedure (traffic, tax, immigration, etc.), but rather the rules that specifically govern this website, the processing of your data, and the use of AI.
Data protection and privacy
- Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of 27 April 2016 (General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR).
- Organic Law 3/2018, of 5 December, on the Protection of Personal Data and the Guarantee of Digital Rights (Spain's national data protection act, LOPDGDD).
E-commerce and communications
- Law 34/2002, of 11 July, on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (Spain's e-commerce act, LSSICE) — arts. 21 (commercial communications) and 22 (cookies).
Contracting and consumers
- Spanish Civil Code, arts. 1709 et seq. (contract of mandate, the legal basis of the agency–client relationship).
- Law 7/1998, of 13 April, on General Contracting Terms (Spain's standard-terms act).
- Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, of 16 November, Consolidated Text of the General Law for the Defence of Consumers and Users (TRLGDCU), when the client acts as a consumer.
- Law 7/2017, of 2 November, on alternative resolution of consumer disputes (regulates accredited out-of-court dispute resolution bodies). Note: the former EU Online Dispute Resolution platform, created by Regulation (EU) 524/2013, ceased to operate on 20 July 2025 following its discontinuation — any reference to it has been removed from this website as it is now out of date.
Artificial intelligence
- Regulation (EU) 2024/1689, of 13 June 2024, laying down harmonised rules on artificial intelligence (the AI Act).
